Wheat Sheaf on The Wall
Remember the brass wheat sheaf sconce I bought on ebay a few weeks ago? It's now up on the wall of my condo, just above the entry table. The candle bases and hanging crystals were a modified version of the original piece, so when I discovered that they could be removed, I opted for a more simple look:

First, I love your "Wheat Sheaf Sconce". That said I think the light switches and other outlet take away from the beauty of the sconce. It seems out of place near modern day light switch plates. I would put the sconce somewhere were it's the central focus. It deserves top billing.
ReplyDeleteNot sure where the comment went (maybe Blogger will find it later), but a reader suggested that the light switches take away from the beauty of the sconce, and to be honest, I agree 100%. I just wish I had another wall to choose from in my one bedroom condo - there just aren't enough spaces to hang everything!! This is just another reason to find a house to call home with lots and lots of space for beautiful items like this sconce!
