Apartment Therapy HouseTour: Jen & Nate

The midtown Toronto home of fellow blogger Jen Selk and her fiance Nathan Kalman-Lamb is featured as a House Tour today on the Apartment Therapy website. They've made a lovely home together, full of great vintage finds and DIY projects. If you have a chance, it's definitely worth taking a few minutes out of your day to check it out.

Cherish Hits the Pages of AT

In the online world, there are a few things that can be deemed as super duper exciting, and one of those is to have a blog post featured on Apartment Therapy. Well, lo and behold, (thanks to Amy over at Eye See Pretty for bringing it to my attention), my Blue to Pink colour transformation is on the AT landing page as of 11:30 this morning. I took a screen capture to prove it:

So exciting!!! I was afraid to read the comments (it can get nasty over there at AT), but as of this post, the opinions are about 60/40 for and against the colour change. I'll take that as a compliment.

Bloomingdale's Big Window Challenge

There's nothing like a good old fashioned contest to bring out the competitive spirit in all of us, and the Bloomingdale's Big Window Challenge is no exception. Votes are currently being tabulated for the most beautiful window, and you can cast your vote twice daily by logging into Apartment Therapy, and by sending a text to 89800 (get the details here). It's a close race between the competitors, so every vote counts!! And while you're there, be sure to check out ad the comments for each entry, they make very interesting reading.

And the designers are:

Still in the Running

The Small Cool "round robin" is now over, and my home is still in the running for recognition in the International category. I'm up against some stiff competition this time around - a modern space in Bangalore, India.

There are only 24 hours to cast your VOTE during this round, so please login over at Apartment Therapy between 3 pm (EST) Thursday and 3 pm (EST) Friday. Follow the link in the message below, which will take you directly to the finalist rounds (Look for Round 1, Matchup 3).

Here's the message I received from Apartment Therapy:

Congratulations!

Your home has received enough "Thumbs Up" votes in Apartment Therapy's Small Cool Home contest to proceed to the first round of elimination bracket voting.

Your home will be competing against another entry in the International division for a period of 24 hours.
