Who's Your Valentine?

February 14th, Valentine's Day, a day for love. As a single girl, I don't celebrate the day, but that doesn't mean I can't treat myself to a little something special.

Holt Renfrew Pop Up Shop

When I stopped into Starbucks on King West yesterday morning, I noticed that the Fashion House condo showroom across the street looked oddly different, and there were many people working inside like drones. When the Holt Renfrew magenta truck backed into the laneway alongside the building, I was very intrigued. I soon discovered that a Pop-Up Shop would be opening in the location for a 5 day run.

Starting Wednesday, December 2nd and running until Sunday, December 6th, Holt Renfrew's premier pop-up shop will be open for business at 560 King Street West. If you haven't heard about this relatively new retail concept, pop-up shops are temporary locations that are here today, gone tomorrow in an effort to create a buzz about a particular boutique or designer. Apparently it's become such a trend that Holt Renfrew contemporary wants in on the action. Expect to see designs for both men and women from Alexander Wang, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Butter London and more. Hours are vague, but pop-in when you can to check it out before it's gone!!

Tis the Season

Halloween is over, and we all know what that means: Time to prepare for Christmas!!

This evening, Holt Renfrew held a special event at the Bloor Street location to celebrate the annual unveiling of the Christmas window displays. The event was hosted by Holt's President & CEO Caryn Lerner along with Kim D'Eon & Rick Campanelli of ET Canada. Canadian entertainer Feist performed to the delight of the assembled crowd.
