Yellow & Navy

I can't stop thinking about the combination of yellow & navy. As a matter of fact, I chose yellow tulips this weekend just because I knew they'd look fabulous with the navy blue dining room wall as a backdrop. Love!!

Yay for Visits!!

I'm so happy my Mom is arriving soon for a weekend visit. It gives me the perfect excuse to splurge on a few treats, like these fresh flowers.

Bedside Vignettes

After I recently "instagrammed" my bedside table vignettes, it got me thinking about what we like to keep close. I love to have fresh flowers at the bedside, since they are the last thing I see at night and the first thing I see in the morning. But I also keep an alarm clock, a small dish for jewellery, and a coin bank. What do you keep on your bedside table?

Keep it Simple, Valentine

For this single girl on Valentine's Day, there will be no chocolates, no special card and no fancy dinner. Just a simple bouquet of tulips from me to me.
