I can confirm that the two designers were at the show that day hunting for antique pieces to use in their latest project, Sarah's House 3. Promotional photos have just been released for the new series, which is scheduled to begin airing on HGTV Canada on Tuesday, March 9th @ 9 pm.
The latest project:
A gorgeous old red brick farmhouse.

Love those boots Sarah!!

The series will run for 10 episodes, and although I hate to do it, I may have to call Rogers and upgrade my cable to include HGTV. Dang.

You're blog is great! Thanks for a great read.
ReplyDelete@Designwali Thanks for the compliment, much appreciated!!
ReplyDeleteS.R. is the bomb! I love the way her designs are clean, eclectic and refreshing. I discovered her show pretty late but once I did I tape every episode. Thanks for letting me know about the new series, I was hoping she wasn't done. Can you imagine being one of her apprentices? Wow! Well, a gal can dream.
ReplyDeleteI can't remember ever having a countdown for a television show in my entire life, until Sarah. I absolutely love her simple but captivating style sense and am just now living my dream of renovating my own cottage, from scratch. If Sarah wants to visit Northern Ontario, she'd be welcome anytime. Love your blog. Kind of like being a "design groupie".
ReplyDeleteMy friends father works for Sarah, and I have the original blueprints to this house that will be on season 3 of Sarahs House. We know Sarah personally as well. She is GREAT!
ReplyDeleteWhere is the farm house located?
ReplyDeleteAccording to sources, the farmhouse in Season 3 is located in Creemore, Ontario. Creemore lies west of Barrie, and directly south of Wasaga Beach.
ReplyDeleteNote: Designer Kimberley Seldon also has a home in Creemore.
You don't need to upgrade your cable to watch Sarah's House. You can watch all the episodes for free, online at HGTV. The quality is great and there are no commercials.

It is just north of Creemore off fairgrounds road.
ReplyDeletehow far north of Creemore? between Creemore and country road 91?
ReplyDeleteHey Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, but I don't know the exact location of the farmhouse.
I live in Bermuda I can't wait to see what Sarah does every week to her farm house.
ReplyDeletedid sarah build this for herself or is he planning on selling this beautiful farmhouse!
ReplyDeleteThis farmhouse is not a home Sarah intends to live in, but is intended strictly as a renovation project for resale.
ReplyDeleteHas the house and land been sold yet??
ReplyDeleteI drove by it this past weekend and didn't see any reality signs anywhere.
I live in this area and recognize the small grain elevator, which is just a few place down from our place. I can't for the life of me figure out where the farm is, although I recognize it.. It's driving me NUTS! Does anyone have the name of the road it's on? What side road?
ReplyDeleteEDIT: My May 12th comment is erroneous!! Sarah did not sell the house.
ReplyDeleteSarah, her husband Alexander and their two little girls spend a lot of time in this country home. You can check it out in the November 2010 issue of Canadian House & Home.
Dear Cherish,
ReplyDeletei just watched the episode where Sarah & her partner did the "blue bathroom" :) it was lovely!
i also recently saw them do the diningroom, which also serves as a "pass-thru", gorgeous!
i had heard a while back that the house was for Sarah & her fam.
i wish i could remember the name of the show she used to do. i want to say "this old house" but i know that's Bob Villa & all those guys who are close by to where i live (Marlboro, Mass).
all of those episodes Sarah did on that other show were mostly glorious "cottage" style, perhaps some of it would be considered "shabby chic". i LOVED watching her, just love her to peices :) her accent is sweetest :)
i simply ADORE HGtv! besides Sarah, i also love; Candice Olson-(?) & David Bromstadt :)
i would give ANYthing to be able to move to Canada! my friend lives in Barrie :)
Thank you soooo much for this entry <3
~Love to all, Jiinx
wow!
ReplyDeleteWill Sarah be back on HGTV in 2011; I love watching her shows-remember "Room Service"?
ReplyDeleteDenise
Hi Denise,
ReplyDeleteYes, Sarah will be back on HGTV in 2011. Her new show, Sarah 101 premieres tomorrow night. Read this post for more info: http://bit.ly/i9luxx
Also, Sarah and Tommy are currently filming Sarah's House 4, so we have more to look forward to in the future!!
Just saw a pic on another website that was supposedly the basement of the farmhouse that Sarah redid. I watched that series many times and never saw or heard any mention of a basement! Did I miss it? Is there a basement?
ReplyDeleteYes, it's true, there was a basement room that was never shown on television. Follow this link to HGTV Canada for a bonus photo of the space (photo 7): http://bit.ly/wPX3DS
