This week on Sarah's House the challenge was for Sarah and Tommy to develop a functional dining room in a space that would also act as a passageway to the new addition. The WOW factor in this room was the bold paper backed Schumacher fabric which was installed above 6 feet of creamy white paneling. What a great idea!
This week's budget: $20,000
Actual spent: $19,500

Which Schumacher fabric is it on the walls? Love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the question about the fabric. The name of the Schumacher pattern Sarah used is "Lotus Garden", and the colour is "Lacquer". The fabric is available in Toronto through Bilbrough (www.bilbroughs.com).
ReplyDeleteAny idea what the dinnerware patterns are? I think one of them is Mikasa Antique White but what about the brown & white pattern? I love the Sarah has done this house.
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy,
ReplyDeleteThe brown and white stoneware set is manufactured for Whole Home and the name of the pattern is "Blossom Backyard".
Thanks for such informative posts! Do you know which company Sarah used to back the fabric with paper for use on the walls? I've been wanting to try this same technique.
ReplyDeleteMy fabulous Father was able to duplicate those corbels for my dining room....perfectly to scale! Thanks Pops!
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know what the name of the oversized paisley fabric used on the drapery? Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteI believe that the paisley fabric is made by Schumacher and is called "Shirala" Paisley in Spice (it also comes in other colourways). This link will take you directly to the Schumacher page for this fabric:
