Upholstered Headboards

This past weekend, I had the time to organize all of the tear sheets I've collected over the years. When I say years, there's no exaggeration, I had hundreds of magazine clippings, some of them dating back to 2001. At least it's good to know that my tastes haven't changed, since I still like all of the features I had saved. In particular I noticed that almost all of the bedroom photographs I had saved contained upholstered headboards.

The bed is generally the focal point of every bedroom, so having a beautiful headboard (combined with luxurious bedding) is the most important feature. There are so many styles of headboards with printed and solid fabrics, camelbacks, winged sides, frames, nailhead and tufted details. I have gathered an assortment of great headboard photos here for inspiration.

  1. Wow! These are cool. We're looking for Sarah Richardson's headboard in paisley that is on her new show! I don't see it here. It would be a good addition.

  3. I just got a custom headboard made by a great young couple in Toronto, LR Interiors. The owner is an interior designer and she helped me design an awesome headboard for my master bedroom. The headboard came with an home consultation which took the stress out of choosing fabrics, etc. This company is great & the total experience was wonderful. Pricing is very reasonable & quality is great. Check out lrinteriors.ca
